2019 Programs Return!
Our junior development programs are back in 2019 for kids of all ages and skill levels looking to develop their basketball skills in a fun and encouraging environment!
‘Toddler Hoops’, an introduction to the game and the skills involved for little ones (typically 3+), will be returning on Saturday the 2nd of Feb and running through to the 30th of April. Sessions will run from 10:00 to 10:45am each morning.
Due to it’s popularity out ‘Learn to Fly’ program, suited for ages 5 and over, will continue to be ran over 2 nights from 4:30-5:30pm each Tuesday and Friday of the school term beginning on Friday the 1st of February. This programs is an early skill development to the essential skills within the sport of basketball.
Both Toddler Hoops and Learn to Fly are located at the Craigieburn Sports Stadium (127 Craigieburn Rd, Craigieburn) and are either $10 per session or $70 for the term for one session a week.
Much like ‘Learn to Fly Skills’ we also have our ‘Merrifield Clinic’ is a fun clinic to encourage the kids basketball skills for greater confidence and hand and eye co-ordination situated in the developing area of Merrifield. Clinics run from 11:30am-12:30pm Saturday mornings at the Merrifield Park Outdoor Court (Hawksburn Place). The first session for 2019 is on the 9th of February until the 30th of March and is $10 per session.
We also offer our ‘Train Like a Pro’ sessions for those looking to take their game to the next level. This is coached by our American import and reining Division 2 Big V MVP Damon Smith and looks to develop more advanced level skills for aspiring juniors. Keep a look out on our Facebook page or at craigieburneagles.com.au for commencement dates.
