FIRST EVER Indigenous Round

Due to the current COVID 19 situation, we regretfully have to postpone our first ever Indigenous Round.  We will announce a new date as soon as possible.

Welcome to the beginning of our future
️
My name is Renai Fejo, I am a proud Larrakia woman from Darwin, NT.

I have been given the amazing opportunity in organising Craigieburn Eagles FIRST EVER Indigenous Round.

This round allows us to recognise our Indigenous community but also reconnecting with our community from all walks of life. Within this round at Craigieburn we want to give back to our Indigenous Community and I have been fortunate enough to have some amazing artworks that will be auctioned off on the night, a raffle and door entry. All the proceeds will be donated to The Wandarra Gathering Place. This will help our youth with homework programs, sport and our elders.

The night will begin with a Welcome to Country by Aunty Mandy Nicolson and the Djirri Djirri Women.

Young Talented Breanna Lee will perform the National Anthem in her Native tongue.

Thank you to Bala Patty Mills in inspiring me in how I can teach others of my Culture.

Always Was, Always Will Be
