Who We Are

CBA was established in 1977 and is located in the Northern Suburbs of Melbourne. CBA encompasses the Victorian Junior Basketball League, Senior & Junior Domestic and the Big V Basketball Competitions, as well as introductory basketball programs. We pride ourselves on being an all inclusive, family orientated Club, encouraging fair play and respect for all. In addition to promoting Basketball within Craigieburn and its surrounding areas, CBA also has a strong focus on community involvement.

An inaugural members of CVIBL (the forerunner to the Victorian Basketball League) we have achieved many feats over the years including winning Country Vic and Metro Titles at both Junior and Senior levels and various Big V and VJBL Championship titles. The Association has also sponsored tours to the USA at Junior level and have assisted in a number of members returning to the USA as exchange students and having them placed into various basketball programs. In 2023 we look forward to the expansion of our Stadium with an additional three courts being built to compliment our current five courts.

The additional courts will enable us to continue to grow our programs and competitions, along with providing much need training space within the Community. Our future is bright and full of anticipation and we are well placed and prepared for the challenge. We look forward to sharing our journey with you.
